On your phone or tablet

You’ll need the free Kindle app installed and signed in to the same Amazon account as your Kindle. Then:

1. Grab the book you want from my Smashwords page and tap Download (choose EPUB).
2. Tap Share, then choose Kindle.
3. Tap Send. That’s it! The book appears in your Kindle library within a few moments, on every Kindle and Kindle app on your account.

First time? You’ll make a free Smashwords account (takes 30 seconds). After that, it’s three taps.

On a computer

1. Download the EPUB from my Smashwords page.
2. Go to amazon.com/sendtokindle and sign in.
3. Drag the file onto the page and click Send.

By email

Every Kindle has its own email address. Attach the EPUB and send it there, from an email address you’ve approved in your Amazon account. You’ll find both under Amazon account → Content & Devices → Preferences → Personal Document Settings.

Why aren’t my books on Amazon?

They were, until April 2026. That month, Amazon removed Book Two of MOTHS for “suspected review manipulation” with no warning, no explanation, and no appeal. It disappeared from the Kindles of more than a thousand readers overnight. My best guess is that their AI flagged a review from one of my ARC readers, but I’ll probably never know.

I’m far from the only one. This year alone I’ve read accounts from hundreds of indie authors, many of them writing romance and romantasy, who’ve lost a book or their entire account, some after a decade on the platform. The triggers they describe are things authors are supposed to do: a wave of ARC reviews, or a burst of downloads after a newsletter or a group promo. Amazon removes books before investigating or letting the author respond, and on suspicion alone it can withhold royalties or claw back ones already paid.

A series with a missing Book Two isn’t a series, and I won’t risk your library vanishing again. So I went wide instead. You’ll find my books at Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, and many libraries, and with the steps above, on your Kindle too.
