I have removed ALL my novels from Amazon. Instead, they are available on almost every other platform. Authors are experiencing egregious behavior from KU (Kindle Unlimited), such as the removal of books with zero warning, inability to reach a human, no information provided as to why an author’s book/s were removed, Amazon refusing to pay out royalties, etc. In some cases, this has happened to authors who have been publishing for over a decade, or who have had thousands of dollars in royalties withheld with no explanation.

I myself experienced Amazon’s draconian policies a few days ago, in the form of the removal of book two of the MOTHS series. This happened a week after 1000+ people downloaded it during a giveaway. Obviously, I found that to be unacceptable.

MOTHS books 6 & 7 will be released before summer, with more coming soon in that series. More stories in MOTHS After Dark (spicy in-world novellas) are coming soon, as well! I hope to have special edition hardcovers available by the holiday season.

Like many of you, I grew up in patriarchal religion. The result was an extraordinarily difficult transition into adulthood from which I have only recently emerged, and certainly not unscathed.

One reason I am so obsessed with Nuama and its women is because they get to live a reality most of us only dream of. One where they are always safe, always respected, and where they come first. Literally. And often.

But it’s not just about sex—we live in a world where women (especially mothers/WOC) are often last to be recognized and celebrated. Nuama challenges that reality—not just in the bedchamber, but everywhere.

Writing these stories has both softened and radicalized me—I hope they do the same for you. I remain absolutely privileged and humbled to be the teller of these tales.
